WiSH volunteers have achieved so much already, however this is just the start. There are many projects and plans for the coming months and years!
WiSH welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds. We aim to be truly inclusive.
If you would like to join us as a WiSH volunteer please read below, as this will help you understand what to expect as you follow the WiSH recruitment process.
Application
If you are interested in a specific role or are offering to volunteer with WiSH, please contact us via info@wimbledoninsportinghistory.org We can then arrange for you to have an informal chat with the Team Leader for the area you are interested in.
You will be sent a Role Description and Person Specification. To be considered, you will be required to return the completed forms. Please note some open roles are posted on this page, however, please do not hesitate to get in touch on a speculative basis.
Successful candidates may require an interview, but this will depend on the type of role you are interested in.
Induction
You will be required to attend an induction – this may be in person or via Zoom. This will last about 30-45 minutes and ensures that all volunteers have the same baseline understanding of WiSH’s DNA.
Volunteer Agreement
You will then need to complete and return a WiSH Volunteer Agreement and complete a personal details form.

Your volunteering journey with WiSH starts. There are formalised processes in place to ensure improved communication and that simple fact you get what you need from your WiSH experience.
